Help your kids count down the days to the Easter Bunny's arrival with this fun advent calendar. They can open an egg every day to get a little treat.
Find your stash of old plastic Easter eggs.
Pull an egg carton from the recycling bin.
Hot glue some paper grass in each opening.
Hot glue the eggs into the carton.
Get creative and make a little sign for the lid.
Pull some ribbon through the top holes and tie it in a bow.
Add the countdown candy and you're done!

I see that this post is a few years old, but a friend pinned it on pinterest. Just FYI - Easter is the season of Lent - 40 days before Easter. Advent is the season leading up to Christmas.
Love how you used the egg carton to hold the eggs. I will be making this tomorrow.
